Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship Program

Description:		These scholarships offer funding toward a study abroad program, seeking to diversify and expand the number of students who are able to study abroad. The program encourages participation in a critical language program as part of the study abroad but does not require it.

Eligibility:		Eligible applicants will be attending Chapman on a Pell Grant (given to students based on financial need) and participating in a study abroad program for which Chapman will grant credit.

Award:		This program offers up to $5,000 in funding; the average award is $4,000. Awards are offered for both fall and spring semesters for varying periods.

Deadline:		For a fall semester program, the application deadline is in early April of the preceding school year. For a spring semester program, the deadline is early October.
