This prestigious award provides opportunities for personal development and international experience in countries throughout the world. Sponsored by the U.S. Department of State, Fulbright Grants provide funding for both international graduate study and advanced research. English teaching assistantships are also available in thirty-two countries. |

Eligibility: |
|
Eligible applicants are college seniors or recent graduates and master's students or recent graduates who exhibit exceptional academic success. Preference is given to those applicants who have resided or studied in the country to which they are applying for no more than six months. Applicants must be U.S. citizens. A proposal project is a requirement for all applicants. |

Award: |
|
This award includes funding for transportation, living expenses, minimal book and research allowances, insurance, and full or partial tuition for study and/or research abroad for one academic year. The award covers language and orientation programs in some cases. |
