November 14, 2007 – Experiential Teambuilding
|
45 leaders participated in a highly interactive presentation on experiential teambuilding. Instructor Rick VanderKam explained the principles of team formation and then illustrated their importance through a series of innovative exercises that literally got people “tied in knots.” Rick also presented a strategic plan for turning organizational problems into challenges that can result in increased team capacity, growth and problem-solving ability. He showed participants, through example, the power of experiential learning processes and encouraged them to hold regular team building events with their staff and co-workers. |

October 10, 2007 - Innovation
| Over 38 leaders joined instructor Kristine Gunn for a high impact, energetic presentation on how to create an innovative culture in their organizations. Participants took an “Innovation Survey” and rated their current level of innovation in four areas – culture, strategy, talent and customers. Kristine presented case studies of highly successful maverick companies that are transforming their industries by capturing uncontested market space rather than competing with rivals. Her PowerPoint presentation was an excellent example of innovation and that combined music, colorful graphics, eye-catching photos and proven strategies for fostering the kind of organization that thrives on risk taking, innovation and advancement.
