Step 1:  From the Apple menu, select “System Preferences…”

Step 2:  In the System Preferences window, select the Network icon. 

Step 3:  Double-click on Built-in Ethernet  

Step 4: Set Configure IPv4 to Using DHCP and leave everything else alone.   Click Apply Now to complete.
