Biography in Brief:
Johnny is a Orange County native and alumnus of Loyola Marymount University and Chapman University. He also holds a Pupil Personnel Services Credential through the state of California. He recently spent three years working as a Graduate Assistant in the Office of Student Leadership and Development at Loyola Marymount University, as well as the last year interning in the Counseling Offices at Corona del Mar High School and Costa Mesa High School respectively.

Advice from Johnny:
"Do not be afraid to ask questions. The admission process can be intimidating, if not overwhelming. Admission counselors are there to help and want to."

Johnny's favorite spot on campus:
"I love the Attallah Piazza; especially, during lunch. Classical music is played throughout the Piazza, which makes it a relaxing place to sit, eat, and reflect. Plus, the summer tacos are amazing!"

Johnny's best admission memory:
“During one of my first transfer appointments, I told a prospective student, whose mother was also present, that it would be a good idea for him to apply because he seemed to be a good candidate for admission. The mother then proceeded to cry out of what I presumed was happiness that her son could possibly attend. I was immediately empathetic towards her reaction because it reminded me of the value placed on receiving a education from Chapman, as well as the opportunities one is given once they are admitted. Thus, it reinforced that Chapman is a life changing experience.”

Johnny's best Chapman memory:
Prior to becoming the Governor of California, Arnold Schwarzenegger, called me a  “Girly Boy” after a taping of Hardball with Chris Matthews was conducted in Memorial Hall.
