Prospective Students

The Department of Mathematics and Computer Science offers programs leading to the Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, and Computer Information Systems. Students who major in Computer Science may choose to specialize in Game Development, Software Design or Integrated Circuit and Embedded System Design. Chapman also offers a Joint Engineering Program with University of California Irvine.

The Chapman Advantage in Mathematics and Computer Science

Chapman offers the curriculum advantages of a large university with the benefits of small classes taught exclusively by professional faculty, including computer science and mathematics recitation and laboratory sections. In the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science, for example, most classes are capped at 24 students. Introductory calculus lecture is divided into three recitation / lab sections with a maximum of 24 students.
