Continuous Improvement

Admission to Chapman University's undergraduate program becomes more competitive each year. During the past five years, the number of applications for undergraduate admission has increased more than 150%. The number of applicants continues to increase each year, while the size of our incoming freshmen class will remain about 1,030.

The average GPA and SAT score of new freshmen are at record levels. An estimated 96% of these freshmen are in the top 25% of their high school class.

We encourage all undergraduate students to apply for admission as early as possible. Please refer to the application for deadlines and dates.

Chapman University's schools and departments have been granted the stamp of approval by some of the world’s most exacting accreditation agencies. These associations provide guideposts and standards for institutions of higher education, and through a process of rigorous outside review, ensure schools meet defined levels of quality and performance. When an institution has received multiple accreditations, you know that it has passed the scrutiny of numerous outside reviewers and you can be guaranteed of its commitment to educational excellence.
