Admission to Chapman’s Orange campus undergraduate program becomes more competitive each year. During the past five years, the number of applications for undergraduate admission has increased over 150%. The number of applicants continues to increase each year, while the size of our incoming class will remain about 1,070 (750 new freshmen and 320 transfer students).
The average GPA and SAT score of new freshmen are at record levels, estimated at 3.55 and 1185 respectively for the Fall 2003 semester. An estimated 86% of these freshmen are in the top 25% of their high school class.
We encourage all undergraduate students to apply for admission as early as possible. Please refer to the application for deadlines and dates.
