Course Number: XLSU 0002Most organizations recognize that enhancing the effectiveness of their managers is crucial to business growth and organizational development. Yet managers are often overlooked when it comes to assistance and support in building the competencies necessary for success. Well-founded research indicates the impact of an unsuccessful manager can be far-reaching and detrimental. The Gallup Organization’s meta-analysis, published in 1999, surveyed over one million employees. It documented that an unsatisfactory relationship with their manager or immediate supervisor is the major reason employees leave an organization. In addition to employee turnover, many other areas of organizational effectiveness are adversely impacted - sales revenue, profit margin, employee engagement, the quality of goods and services, and level of customer satisfaction.
In this Leadership Development program, managers receive practical, proven tools to maximize effectiveness in their critical organizational role. To make the material more relevant, participants are organized into small “learning groups” to work on actual business issues. Program Modules
