Chapman University has a mandatory parking permit policy. Parking regulations are enforced at all times. Parking in university owned or operated parking areas without a valid permit, will result in a parking citation. All students are automatically charged a parking permit fee. To obtain a permit, you must register on-line and then go to the Public Safety Office to pick up your permit. Returning students will be required to verify their vehicle information and then go to the Public Safety Office to receive the permit. This must be done at the beginning of each academic year of attendance.
If you are living on campus without a vehicle or commuting via alternative means of transportation (AKA not driving a vehicle to campus), you can request a parking fee waiver online during the first three weeks of the semester. Once approved, your student account will be credited for the amount of the parking fee. This must be done at the beginning of each academic year of attendance.
Parking on city streets or in public lots, including the Metrolink Lot, while attending classes at the university violates the university’s Vehicle Rules and Regulations as well as our agreement with the city. Those found doing so are subject to referral to student conduct. We appreciate your adherence to our parking policy as we work together to be good neighbors to the surrounding community.
