Dr. Donald N. Cardinal has been dean of the College of Educational Studies at Chapman University, Orange, CA, since 2002. Previously, Dr. Cardinal served as professor and Director of the Center for Educational and Social Equity and Director of Special Education in the School of Education at Chapman University where he has worked since 1988. Dr. Cardinal began his career in the area of business finance. In 1974, seeking greater purpose and passion, Don embarked on a career as teacher and administrator in programs serving people with severe and profound disabilities.
