Sandra Skahen is an Assistant Clinical Professor with the Alona Cortese Elder Law Center, a Chapman University Fowler School of Law student clinic. Professor Skahen joined the faculty in 2009, as an adjunct professor working with the Professor Kurt Eggert, Director of the Alona Cortese Elder Law Center. After receiving her B.A. in French Civilization, she received her B.S. and became a Registered Dental Hygienist. Professor Skahen raised two sons while attending law school and she was President of the Newport Harbor High School PTA during her LLM studies at Chapman. Prior to joining Chapman, Professor Skahen worked with the law firm of Hewitt & O’Neill from 2006 to 2008, in endangered species permitting.
