Dr. Marc Fawaz is a veteran executive with more than 20 years of experience in global consulting, corporate and business unit strategy, developing market entry strategies, managing organizational structure, lean operations, process improvement and leadership.  He is an entrepreneur with extensive experience in the fashion industry.  Dr. Fawaz earned his Executive MBA from UCI where he was awarded the “Most Innovative Thinker” for the class of 2005 and then went on to earn his Doctorate from Pepperdine University in Organizational Leadership.

In addition to being a professor of business, Dr. Fawaz is a business consultant. His areas of expertise include global marketing and strategy; management; operations; leadership; negotiations; and, organizational behavior and change.  Dr. Fawaz is also a career and a life coach.

Serving the local community is a top priority for Dr. Fawaz.  His relentless devotion to apply his passions and ideas to impact as many lives as he can is evident in the numerous projects he constantly involves students in.  For almost a decade now, Dr. Fawaz continues serving as a mentor and coach for the UCI Business Plan Competition at The Beal Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship and as an academic advisor for the Enactus Organization.

  • Currently researching School of Business curriculums and their dire need to adapt as the career market place evolves.
