Alcohol Education for College 2008 - 2009

All students entering in Fall 2008 and Spring 2009 semesters are required to complete and pass Alcohol Education for College or "AlcoholEdu." AlcoholEdu is a proactive education alcohol tool for undergraduate students used at over 500 colleges and universities nationwide. The implementation of this program has proved beneficial to educate Chapman University students and promote responsible behaviors.

AlcoholEdu will become "live" for students to complete beginning approximately July 9, 2008.

All first year and transfer students will be required to complete and pass Part 1 of the the course by August 25, 2008. More information about how to access the program will be sent to all first year and transfer students admitted for Fall 2008 during the summer via the student's Chapman University email address.

For all first year and transfer students in Fall 2008 or Spring 2008 - If you have already taken AlcoholEdu for College at another college or university, or you feel as though you have extenuating circumstances which should exempt you from completing the program you may petition for an exemption. Please review this petition (PDF) for more information.

For first year and transfer students who were admitted Fall 2007 or Spring 2008 who did not complete and pass Part 1 of the program - The program will become live for you approximately June 11, 2008. Information about how to log onto the course will be sent to your Chapman University email. Your previous login ID and password will no longer work to access the course. Questions can be directed to alcoholedu@chapman.edu. Students admitted Fall 2007 or Spring 2008 are not able to petition for an exemption.
