Central to Chapman University’s quest to become an
internationally recognized university of distinction is its growing visibility
in the natural, physical, and health sciences. The science faculty is known not
only for producing consequential, interdisciplinary research but also for a
deep commitment to teaching tomorrow’s scientists and workforce members.
Furthermore, science undergraduate and graduate programs are recognized for successfully compelling students to learn science by doing science, to solve complex problems using multidisciplinary approaches, and to apply computational methodologies to 21st Century problems. The graduate programs in the health sciences not only address the critical social need for a new generation of healthcare professionals but also are forward looking in their approach to health professional education.
Our graduate programs embrace a team-based approach to healthcare and integrate behavioral science and technology into education and practice. Graduates from our programs will be prepared to play more comprehensive roles as primary care providers to future generations.
We are undertaking a capital campaign to fund the Science and Technology Building and the Graduate Health Science Campus. These new spaces will lay a solid foundation for realizing the University’s commitment to support and nurture highly visible and respected sciences and health sciences.
