Single Subject Credential

If you are interested in teaching at the middle school or high school level:

• It is generally best to major in the area you intend to teach.
• You may need to complete other courses in addition to their major coursework, in preparation for State exams.
• You may be able to begin your single subject credential classes in your third year of undergraduate study.
