Mr. Bauerle is an Orange County native and graduated from Chapman University with a bachelor's degree in 1987 and a master's degree in sports medicine in 1989. He served as Head Athletic Trainer and Head Strength Coach at Chapman from 1989 to 1993 and taught courses in what was then the movement and exercise science department.
In 1998 Mr. Bauerle joined the academic faculty in Chapman's department of kinesiology and was appointed as Athletic Training Program Director in 1999. He currently serves an adjunct instructor within the Athletic Training Education Program.
In addition to his sports medicine expertise, Mr. Bauerle is a certified strength and conditioning specialist and has coached numerous professional, collegiate and high school athletes in performance enhancement. An engaging educator, he regularly presents at sports medicine and fitness symposia. Mr. Bauerle also has more than twenty years of progressive healthcare leadership specializing in fostering productive partnerships across various academic, athletic and philanthropic settings.
Mr. Bauerle co-owns SPEED Training Centers, a comprehensive fitness, sport performance, and physical therapy facility in the city of Anaheim. He resides in Yorba Linda and enjoys an active lifestyle with his wife Kim and their daughters Sierra and Sequoia.
