» Borrowing Materials for Brandman University Patrons

Please read the Brandman University Library Borrowing Policies and Procedures, which includes information about checkout limits and fines, prior to requesting library materials.

To request an article, book, or audio/visual item for checkout, login to your ILL account using the link below. If you do not currently have an ILL account, you must create one. Once your account is created, you will be logged in and you can begin requesting materials. We will contact you via your University e-mail address if we have any questions about your requests. Please contact us if your address has changed recently to avoid any delay in shipping materials to you.

Borrowing Materials owned by the Leatherby Libraries

  • If you request an item that is owned by the Leatherby Libraries and is available for checkout, we will ship it to you via UPS to your home address (we cannot ship to P.O. Boxes).
  • You can renew materials by logging into “My Library Account” or by contacting the Brandman Library Assistant at (800) 344-5756 Ext. 1. Items cannot be renewed if they are overdue, and can only be renewed once.
  • Items returned late are subject to overdue fees.  You will be billed for items that are not returned to the library. All unresolved and/or unpaid charges will be referred to the University Business Office (including an additional referral fee).

Borrower Responsibility

Brandman University patrons are responsible both physically and financially for all items checked out on their card. Brandman University patrons are responsible for all fines, fees, replacement costs and charges which may result from overdue returns, damaged, lost, lost in transit, or stolen items, including those obtained by Interlibrary Loan. Library accounts are not transferable. It is the responsibility of the Brandman University patron to be aware of the due dates for all library materials checked out. For Brandman University borrowing and circulation policies, which includes information about checkout limits and fines, please see the Brandman University Library Borrowing Policies and Procedures
