The Panther's Guide to Living Off Campus

» We Get It. Parking Can Be a Pain.

All it takes is a few seconds to double-check that you’re parking mindfully. Your neighbors will appreciate your thoughtfulness.

Who couldn’t use a few extra brownie points, or an extra parking spot for that matter?

The Basics

  • Use the parking space in front of your home.
  • Leave inactive vehicles parked on the driveway.
  • Don’t park on the sidewalk.
  • Leave space for others to park, too.

Reminder

Most streets around campus have permitted parking for those residents only. Yes, this also means that you can’t bring your own permit to park closer to campus and walk over.

Lose the Car and Go Green

Chapman provides eligible students $350 to cover the cost of a new bike for their commute. Check out Chapman.edu/bikevoucher to learn more about this initiative.
