While opportunities for women on campus seem limited, there are actually a number of amazing clubs and organizations available to women here at Chapman.  As for community organizations, this very brief overview of the support and professional growth systems available just within Orange County is far from an exhausted resource!  There are many dozens more that are not listed, and this barely touches upon Los Angeles County.  The more you look, the more you will find.  Please take advantage of the Office of Career Professional Development as you build your professional profile and explore your career opportunities.

WITOC is a California non-profit organization founded in 1985 as Women in World Trade. We are proud to have earned the reputation as the premier trade organization in Orange County

The Orange County Federation of Republican Women (OCFRW) has a membership of over 1,500 with 16 local clubs.

Provides a career center that where female job seekers can post their resumes or search through job listings. Also includes an extensive list of internships for women.

Women job-seekers can find a variety of career and job resources including recruiting events and job fairs career coaching resume critiquing and job-search seminars. Free and fee-based; never pay.

Designed to assist women seeking career advancement. Job-seekers can browse for jobs (by occupation/industry) and post your resume as well as find tips and other resources. Free to job-seekers.

Offers a job line, economic-development opportunities, and community-service projects.

Specializing in the Placement of Women & Minority Candidates

Specializes in identifying and placing highly skilled female and minority professionals who possess the experience, expertise, and academic credentials necessary for upper level positions. Job-seekers can browse job openings and submit your resumes. Free to job-seekers.

Provides information on minority business financing and women-owned financial institutions. Also provides employment resources for minorities and women in finance, banking, and investments.

The Feminist Majority Foundation's Jobs Board has been a high-traffic resource for over a decade.
