Scott Levitt received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from CSULB. One year later, at the same university, he received his Masters in Business Administration degree at the age of 22, the youngest at the time in the school's history. Mr. Levitt received his Juris Doctorate degree from Chapman University School of Law with an emphasis in Real Estate, Land Use, and Environmental Law. He worked the maximum number of hours allowed by the ABA, and was the only member of his class to graduate a semester early. Mr. Levitt entered Chapman on a full tuition Provost Scholar Scholarship and served as the class commencement speaker. He served as Chairperson of the Honor Council, served on the Mock Trial Board and competed at several competitions. He also served as an editor of the Nexus Law Journal. Mr. Levitt received his Masters in Law degree (LL.M.), from Chapman University School of Law, specializing in Business Law and Economics, graduating in the top 10% of the class. He studied directly under the 2002 Nobel Prize winner in Economics. Mr. Levitt received top grades in Spontaneous Order & the Law, and Adv. Seminar in Land Use Dispute. Mr. Levitt served as General Counsel right out of law school for almost a decade to a mid-size construction and real estate development company. From there he started his own firm in 2012 serving companies in all industries. He started with one client and today has served close to 400. In February of this year, he took a case to the California Supreme Court. Mr. Levitt has taught college courses in both law and finance at Chapman University at the Business School and Law School. He often teaches MCLE classes in the area of construction law and mechanic lien law. He is a member of the State Bar of California, and admitted to the U.S. District Court, the Supreme Court of the United States, the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals, and the US Court of Federal Claims. Mr. Levitt is also a licensed real estate broker and general contractor. Mr. Levitt is active in his community and in political circles. He served as the Chairperson on the Chapman School of Law Alumni Board and has been a member of the group for 15 years. He has also served and continues to active service in the Seal Beach Chamber of Commerce, and is a member of the Seal Beach Lions Club. He was voted best attorney in Seal Beach in 2019 and 2017, and Seal Beach Business Person of the Year in 2015. Mr. Levitt was a Republican primary candidate for Lieutenant Governor in 2010, for the State of California.

Adam Monson is an Executive Benefits Consultant with Fulcrum Partners, LLC. Adam helps Public and Privately held corporations as well as banks with the design, implementation, asset/liability management, and ongoing consulting of executive benefit plans, primarily Nonqualified Deferred Compensation plans. He has worked as a board member and investor for startup companies in the Tech, Automotive, and Commercial Real Estate industries. Adam graduated from Chapman in 2013 with a B.S. in Business Administration (emphases in Finance and Entrepreneurship) and a Psychology minor. Outside of class Adam held many roles on campus including President of Phi Kappa Tau, President of Men of Harmony, Resident Advisor, Chapman Ambassador. In addition, Adam was nominated for the Paul S Delp award, and was a Man of Integrity Recipient. Adam loves helping kids and is a Big Brother in Big Brothers Big Sisters of Orange County. He is also a volunteer with Junior Achievement and Painted Turtle.

Alan Peterson is a Senior Associate on the residential research team at Green Street – the preeminent provider of real estate and financial market intelligence. He supports research coverage of the apartment, single-family rental, manufactured home park and student housing sectors and plays a central role in the coverage of roughly 15 publicly traded real estate stocks. Alan is also a member of the National Multifamily Housing Council (NMHC). Alan earned dual degrees, a B.S. in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance and a B.A. in Economics, from Chapman University. While at Chapman he served as Treasurer of Phi Kappa Tau, Vice President of the Chapman University Investment Group, and was the Senior Portfolio Manager of the Janes Financial Center Residency Program. Additionally, he was a member of the Order of Omega Honor Society and an Orientation Leader.

Born and raised in Orange County, CA, Allison “Ally” Lentz started at Chapman University in the fall of 2009 as a Communication Studies major. As an undergraduate, she became a member of the Kappa Alpha Theta Fraternity, and during her four years as a collegiate member, she held three leadership roles and served on numerous committees. In her senior year, she was the proud recipient of the highest acknowledgment given to a collegiate member of a Kappa Alpha Theta chapter - the Betty Locke Hamilton Award - named after Kappa Alpha Theta’s founder. She participated in many activities and events associated with her major, and she became a member of the Chapman University Chapter of the National Society of Leadership and Success. Today, Ally is honored to work at the CHOC Foundation, which is the fundraising arm for CHOC Children’s Hospital in Orange, CA. She is a member of the Communications and Donor Experience team, where she serves as the Associate Director of Donor Experience. Her primary roles are to ensure that current donors of the hospital stay engaged and involved with CHOC by planning tours, receptions and check presentations, as well as creating recognition and impact reports. In addition, she maintains connections with various medical and administrative departments throughout the hospital and chairs a board committee of community volunteers and leaders to assist in the activities of the Donor Experience team. Ally is an active member of the Association of Donor Relations Professionals (ADRP), the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP), and the CHOC Foundation is a member of The Woodmark Group. Ally is a proud homeowner in Old Towne Orange. She enjoys walks to “the circle” to support the local businesses and spending time with her family, friends and rescue cat.

Jeff Garvin is an author, podcaster, and musician. His debut novel, Symptoms of Being Human, is an ALA Best Fiction for Young Adults Selection, a Lambda Literary Award Finalist, and garnered starred reviews from Booklist and Publishers Weekly. His sophomore book, The Lightness of Hands, is a Junior Library Guild selection and received a starred review from School Library Journal and praise from multiple New York Times bestselling authors. Jeff also produces and cohosts The Hero’s Journey podcast, examining books and films through the lens of Joseph Campbell’s monomyth paradigm. Before becoming a novelist, Jeff acted on TV and toured as the lead singer of a rock band. He has a BFA in Film from Chapman University. When he’s not writing, Jeff performs in an 80s cover band, plays Dungeons & Dragons, and spends time with his family and pets in Southern California.

Over the course of Derek's time in the television industry, his career has spanned the world, literally. A few years after graduating from Chapman University in 2005 with a degree in Film Production, he ventured to England where he received his Masters Degree in International Conflict Studies from King's College London. From there, Derek dove into international television production. He began his career producing for the hit CBS series, The Amazing Race, where he was fortunate to produce 12 seasons and film in over 35 countries. After leaving Amazing Race, he produced additional travel series such as Best Bars in America for Esquire, United Shades of America for CNN, Huang's World for VICE and adventure series Ultimate Expedition for YouTube Originals among many more. Derek is now the Vice President of Development for Xpedition Media, creating new concepts for television and documentaries. Since the Spring of 2018, Derek has taught Documentary Filmmaking in Chapman's Dodge College.

As a Design Program Lead, Lauren partners closely with clients and multi-disciplinary teams to design and execute transformational programs that activate organizations to drive innovation and growth. Prior to joining IDEO, she led a large engagement with a globally recognized and beloved brand known for designing elegant products and experiences that unleash creativity. When she is not behind her laptop, she can be difficult to find — spending most of her free time by (or in) the ocean and climbing the peaks around the Bay Area. As of recent, she is trying to master the art of hummus and growing her WFH sock collection.

SORREL GEDDES is Senior Vice President, US Production & Events, for the British Film Commission’s LA office. In this role, she works to support business development for film and high-end television productions looking to shoot in the UK or in bring post-production and VFX work. Sorrel organizes receptions at the Toronto International Film Festival and Sundance Film Festival as well as planning all North American events that the BFC hosts. Prior to the BFC, Sorrel worked for Chapman University’s Dodge College of Film and Media Arts, overseeing events, strategic partnerships, industry and alumni relations. Additionally, she managed operations for Chapman Filmed Entertainment. She also worked on the 2010 Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games in Vancouver and, previous to that, in communications for the Directors Guild of Canada, BC District Council.

Ted received his Doctor of Medicine degree from Oral Roberts University and went on to complete a residency/chief residency in Internal Medicine at the University of California Irvine (UCI). He then entered full-time clinical practice in Yorba Linda, and was one of the founders of St. Jude Heritage Medical Group (now Providence Health Care) where he focused on the prevention and aggressive treatment of cardiovascular and metabolic disease. He was also board-certified as a Specialist in Clinical Hypertension. After 14 years in clinical practice and medical staff leadership, Ted moved into biopharmaceuticals, as a Regional Scientific Director (MSL) at Novartis covering San Diego and Orange County. While there, he earned a Master of Advanced Studies degree in Clinical Research at the University of California San Diego and was an Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at UCI. He went on to several Medical Director/Medical Affairs roles at a number of different pharmaceutical firms. He briefly returned to his original clinical practice at St. Jude Heritage in 2013, only to rejoin a Medical Affairs role with Amgen in early 2015. While at Amgen, Ted launched Corlanor, and then served as the Repatha Medical Director. He joined AstraZeneca as a Senior Field Physician, Cardiovascular/Metabolic in March 2019. Ted is board-certified in Internal Medicine, a Fellow of the American College of Physicians, a Fellow of the American College of Endocrinology, and a Fellow of The Obesity Society. He has three grown “children,” and resides with his wife and two dogs in Irvine, California. He’s a long-time runner, bicyclist and a huge fan of the Anaheim Ducks.

Prior to arriving in Greensboro Elizabeth ran the Executive Briefing Program at Experian, North America. She has eighteen years’ experience in Organizational Leadership with an emphasis in launching corporate wide strategic initiatives that encompass; leadership, sales and training. Elizabeth is a graduate of Chapman’s Organizational Leadership Master’s program with a minor in Human resources from the Orange Campus in California. While at Boston University in Massachusetts she received her Bachelors of Science degree in Education. She also holds multiple certifications in her field, most notably a Life Coaching certification from the Hudson Institute of Santa Barbra, Center for Creative Leadership and Richardson’s Sales and Leadership. Elizabeth has successfully coached senior executives to establish core business vision, mission, and values that promote long term business sustainability. Her focus on creating an organizational culture of learning and success has assisted businesses in increasing their retention and sales. Elizabeth develops leaders as coaches themselves, through developing and encouraging the best within the corporate environment and encouraging the core competencies of the entrepreneurial spirit. Originally from Florida, Elizabeth enjoyed the Southern California lifestyle for the past 27 years before moving to Greensboro, North Carolina in 2017.
