The publications office at Chapman University has a two-fold mission. Our first responsibility is to create, define and protect the visual image of the institution. Second, we are a resource in assisting the university’s various entities in meeting their visual communication needs.

While we prefer to work with all departments on their visual communication projects, our web site provides information and guidelines for the development of graphic pieces for print and the Web that ultimately contribute to and reinforce the identity of Chapman University. The guidelines presented on the following pages are based on policies and recommendations that have been approved by the senior staff. The best way to ensure compliance with theses guidelines and recommendations is to work directly with the publications office when you are developing a specific piece.
