Research Interests

Dr. Tiwari has keen interest at the interphase of chemistry and biology with focus on using peptides and small molecules in solving biological problems. Some areas of interest include developing bisubstrate inhibitors for protein kinases, targeted delivery of anticancer drugs to tumor, neuroprotection using peptides and small molecules, nanoparticles for drug delivery, and developing antimicrobial agents. Dr. Tiwari’s has authored 56 peer-reviewed articles, 1 patent, 1 book chapter, and 38 meeting abstracts.
