Ronald P. Jordan, BPharm, RPh, FAPhA
Dean Jordan was recruited by Chapman University, to found the School of Pharmacy at its new multidisciplinary Health Sciences Campus in Irvine, California in February of 2013. As the founding Dean and chief executive of the school he is responsible for all aspects of the strategic direction and development of the new program.
Nancy Alvarez, PharmD, BCPS, FAPhA
Assistant Dean, Experiential Education and Continuing Professional Development Clinical Assistant Professor
Dr. Nancy A. Alvarez is Assistant Dean, Experiential Education and Continuing Professional Development and Clinical Assistant Professor for the School of Pharmacy where she will be responsible for identifying practice sites and supporting preceptors who will deliver practical education and training for student pharmacists.
Lawrence “LB” Brown, PharmD, PhD, FAPhA
Associate Dean of Student Affairs, Professor of Pharmacoeconomics and Health Policy
Dr. Lawrence “LB” Brown is Associate Dean of Student and a Full Professor in the school of pharmacy, where he will be responsible for admissions, curriculum, and progression of students.
Keykavous Parang, PharmD, PhD
Associate Dean of Research, Graduate Studies and Global Affairs, Professor of Medicinal Chemistry
Dr. Keykavous Parang is Associate Dean of Research, Graduate Studies, and Global Affairs is responsible for initiating and promoting cutting-edge research activities within CUSP, administration of the graduate (M.S., Ph.D.) programs, developing the shared research core facilities, capital equipment requests, hiring high quality research faculty in different levels, and establishing relationships with other national and international institutions to promote the collaborative research programs.
Laura M. Cook, Pharm.D.
Dean's Special Faculty Advisor to Pre-Pharmacy Students
Dr. Cook is responsible for advising and mentoring Orange campus undergraduates while also participating in further development and implementation of student affairs office materials, processes and procedures.
Rocke DeMark, Ed.D.
Director of Student Affairs
In collaboration with the Associate Dean of Student Affairs, Rocke DeMark is responsible for administering and contributing to the School of Pharmacy’s recruitment and retention efforts. He provides management and support for student services in the Office of Student Affairs (OSA). He also oversees the administrative and business operation functions of the office, under the Supervision of the Associate Dean of Student Affairs.
Director of Administrative Operations
In collaboration with the Dean and the Senior Leadership Council of the School of Pharmacy, Sharon Krueger is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the day-to-day business and financial operations of the School of Pharmacy as well as providing administrative oversight and development to staff. In addition, she provides executive-level support to the Dean and serves as the central information resource for the school.
Lauren McAnelly is responsible for assisting with the coordination of numerous administrative and logistical functions of the School of Pharmacy. Also, she serves as the receptionist in the office of the Dean.
Sandra Robbie, MA
Sr. Administrative Assistant, Student Affairs
Sandra Robbie is responsible for serving as part of the front line support for all student services provided by the School of Pharmacy as well as coordinating the daily administrative operations of the Office of Student Affairs (OSA). In addition, she will provide assistance in coordinating the OSA Student Conduct Process and with data management.
