The Information Systems & Technology department, and the Research Office at Chapman University, have teamed up to secure an electronic research administration system that will take all aspects of sponsored projects and research integrity (e.g., IRB, IACUC, COI) into a user friendly system.

After a careful vendor selection process where various campus partners (staff and faculty) were involved, the product EVisions was selected in April 2017. We anticipate the full implementation taking place over the next nine (9) months.

As the implementation of the modules progresses, there will be various trainings available and the "go live" dates will be announced to the campus.

+ - Phase 1

Planned for April to June, 2017.

Includes the implementation of IRB, 424 (System to System proposal submission), and IACUC

Training will follow over the summer and into the Fall of 2017.

+ - Phase 2

Planned for July to December, 2017.

Includes the implementation of Sponsored Project module, Conflict of Interest (COI).

Rollout

Our preliminary schedule involves implementing the new system in two phases:

Phase 1 (April – June)

Phase 2 (July – December)
