All Crean College undergrads have access to advisors.

Your advisors are here to support your academic success. You’re welcome to get in touch with them at any time. See below for more info and ways to connect.

  • Planning your class schedule.

Faculty Mentors

Faculty Mentors are Chapman Crean College faculty. If you are a current student, you may even know some of them already.

Your Faculty Mentors can help you with questions and concerns specific to your major field. They can also help you explore career options, research opportunities and graduate school pathways.

You can find your Faculty Mentor listed at the top left of your Program Evaluation.

Health Sciences majors: based on your area of study, your Faculty Mentor can help you choose your classes and review remaining credits.

Global Education Advisor
As a Crean student, your dedicated Global Education Advisor is Debbie Tan. Debbie can help you plan your study abroad experience. Search for programs, register for a Global First Steps session, and more at Debbie’s virtual office.

  • Classes you will need to take for your major.
  • What the instructors are like, and their teaching styles.

A note for parents — partners in your students’ success

All Crean College advisors can work with your student to help create the best possible academic experience based on their interests and goals.

We hope you will also support your student’s success by helping ensure they graduate on time and get the most out of their college experience. However, please keep in mind:

  • It is important that students learn and feel comfortable to self-advocate. If they have questions or concerns, please encourage them to reach out themselves for assistance.
  • Additionally, when students enter college, their academic information is protected under The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA). This prevents staff and faculty from discussing anything specific about your student unless they are present and give us explicit permission to do so.
