FALL 2010 POETRY READING SERIES ANNOUNCED! 

All events are scheduled for Tuesdays. All Readings by the visiting poets will be held at 5 p.m. in the Henley Room, Leatherby Libraries. All talks by the visiting poets will beheld at 2:30 p.m. in Argyros Forum 201. 

ALL READINGS AND TALKS ARE FREE AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC. Barnes & Noble will have poets' books available for sale at the events.

September 14: Rae Armantrout (introduced by President Jim Doti)
Rae Armantrout is the author of Versed, which won the 2010 Pulitzer Prize. She hails from San Diego.

September 28: Patty Seyburn (introduced by Dean Patrick Dean)
Patty Seyburn is the author of Hilarity and hails from Long Beach.

October 12: Lynne Thompson (introduced by Dean Jerry Price)
Lynne Thompson is the author of Beg No Pardon and hails from Los Angeles.

November 9: Allison Joseph (introduced by Chancellor Daniele Struppa)
Allison Joseph is the author of My Father's Kites and comes to Chapman University from Carbondale, Illinois.

November 30: MFA Reading (Malloy Performance Portico, introduced by Chair of English Patrick Fuery)

Grad Students Interview Published

Jen Bervin and Nancy Kuhl, both of whom have participated in poetry publishing outside the production of full-length books, were among Tabula Poetica's first visiting poets and were interviewed by two Chapman graduate students, Andrew Mauzey and Michael Dinsmoor. Their interview was published as the cover story on the Poetry Foundation's website, take a look!
