A college education is a significant financial investment – and a significant investment in your future. At Chapman, we want every qualified student to prosper regardless of financial responsibility; our generous financial aid programs make attending Chapman a reality for all. We are proud to be a part of our university’s rich heritage of service and dedication to others.
For Orange campus undergraduate students who live in our residence halls, the cost of attending Chapman is approximately $47,000 per year for the 08-09 academic year. Chapman’s generous financial aid programs assist students in meeting this financial obligation, with more than 85 percent of our students receiving scholarships or other financial aid. Need-based financial aid awards include a combination of grants, scholarships, loans and work study jobs.
For the 2006-2007 academic year, over $132 million was provided to more than 9200 students. Assistance is available for students and families of all income levels. We award every eligible student and we meet 100 percent of financial need. We value academic achievement and recognize eminent talent in music, theater, dance, art, film, creative writing, science and mathematics.
Most importantly, we are always ready to help. Just ask!
