The Argyros School of Economics and Business is home to 120+ faculty members from around the world.  Focused on teaching and delivering engaging classroom experiences, our faculty members provide personal attention to students with the goal of producing futures leaders in the business community.

The Argyros School is also home to a number of research institutes and centers of excellence.  With the renowned Economic Science Institute (ESI) under the leadership of Nobel Laureate Vernon Smith, our faculty produce trail blazing research in experimental economics.

  • The Anderson Center for Economic Research has released an update of its 2016 forecasts for the U.S., California and Orange County, that were issued last December at the center’s 38th annual Economic Forecast Conference. Read More

    Argyros School Professor and Warren and Doris Uehlinger Endowed Professor of Business, Dr. Glenn Pfeiffer, will transition from his current role as Vice Chancellor for Academic Administration to serve as Interim Provost for Chapman University, effective September 1st, 2016.

    Argyros School Associate Professor of Management Science, Dr. Kenneth Murphy, has been appointed the Associate Provost for Academic Administration for Chapman University, effective August 1st, 2016.

    Argyros School Professor, Dr. Raymond Sfeir, has been appointed the new Director of the A. Gary Anderson Center for Economic Research.

    Dr. Vernon Smith, George L. Argyros Endowed Chair in Finance and Economics and Professor at the Economic Science Institute delivers keynote address at Trinity Economic Forum in Ireland. Read More
