Greg UngarGreg received a BA in philosophy from UC Berkeley and an MFA and PhD from UC Irvine. He currently teaches acting at Tony Award-winning South Coast Repertory, and has taught acting, voice, speech, and dramatic literature at UC Irvine’s prestigious Claire Trevor School of the Arts. Greg has directed at UC Irvine and in Hollywood at the Comedy Central Space, the Fountain Theatre, and Improv Olympic. Greg has written for MADtv and South Coast Repertory’s Performance Ensemble. For the Transversal Theatre Company, Greg directed the European tour of Woof Daddy. In 2009, Greg directed Lisa Loomer’s Expecting Isabel at Chapman University and his most recent acting credits include Touchstone in As You Like It and Gratiano in Merchant of Venice with award-winning Shakespeare Orange County. Greg is a certified Fitzmaurice Voicework instructor and a proud member of the Chapman Theatre Department. |
