What is your favorite thing about Chapman? My favorite part of Chapman is the fantastic group of students we have. In the film school especially, it is wonderful to be around such focused and self-motivated students. The students at Chapman have an incredible determination to succeed, and I find this environment extremely inspiring. I feel I have stumbled upon something special here.
What does Orientation mean to you? / Why do you love the program? I absolutely love Orientation because it achieves the unimaginable. Somehow, the Orientation Assistants succeed year after year in taking something as daunting as coming to college and turning it into a welcoming week of fun. This process is nearly magical, and I feel so fortunate to be a part of it once again.
What is your favorite memory of Orientation? My favorite Orientation memory is from serving as an Orientation Assistant this past fall, when my OA partner tried to teach me how to properly dance to mariachi music in the middle of the cafeteria. We both nearly died of laughter at how bad my dancing was.
Random fun fact. I used to have dreadlocks once upon a time.
