Disciples on Campus Scholarships
Quick Facts At Chapman University, our Disciples on Campus (DOC) group is made up of Disciples and UCC students from all over the world. Each DOC student is invited to join in a Covenant of participation and support of the DOC ministry offered through the office of Church Relations.
All Disciples and UCC students who join in covenant with our office receive Church Relations scholarships. Most students would not be able to come to Chapman without this special support.
All participating DOC students receive $2,000 annually. Students who have been on a leadership team for their Disciples Region or UCC Conference receive half tuition in addition to the DOC Scholarship. All prospective Disciples or UCC students should contact the Church Relations staff for more information.
In 2007, for the first time in Chapman history, the Church Relations office awarded over $1 Million in DOC scholarship support to the 114 Disciples and UCC students at Chapman. Much of the annual support given DOC students comes directly from Disciples and UCC churches, church members and Alumni. It is through the generous giving of all our churches and their members that Chapman’s DOC program is widely considered to be the most dynamic Disciples/UCC student ministry in the country.
