Our literacy efforts include the Literacy Tutoring Program at the Kathleen Muth Reading Center. The Literacy Tutoring Program teaches reading and writing to approximately 100 culturally and linguistically diverse elementary students each year. This tutoring program also educates undergraduate and graduate student teachers to be effective literacy educators in our public schools. The program also offers a Home Library Program where young readers are given books in their current and next reading levels for their homes. Add your support in Chapman’s quest to provide literacy scholarships and books for kids of all ages.
