Brian Cooper

Brian Cooper was born in 1971 in San Francisco, CA and currently lives in Los Angeles. He earned his BFA from the San Francisco Art Institute in 1995 and an MFA from the University of Southern California in 2002. Cooper has had solo shows at the Sweeney Art Museum at the University of California Riverside and the Acuna Hansen Gallery, Los Angeles. His work has also been included in shows at Gallery MC in New York, the Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art, the Tucson Museum of Contemporary Art, Gallery C in Los Angeles, and the De Parel Gallery in Amsterdam. He will be featured in “New American Paintings” in December ’07 and will exhibit work in the upcoming “L.A. Painting Now”, the L.A. Weekly Biennial.
