Allison Smith

Ali Smith graduated from Skidmore College in upstate New York, earning a B.S. in Studio Art, with minors in French and Art History. Since receiving her M.F.A. in Drawing and Painting in 2003 from California State University, Long Beach, she has been in numerous solo and group shows. Most recently, Ali had a solo show in New York at Freight and Volume Gallery this year, as well as recent solo exhibitions at the Mark Moore Gallery in Santa Monica, and McClain Gallery in Houston, Texas. Her work is in many private collections, as well as in the Progressive Insurance Collection, the Weisman Foundation, the Laguna Art Museum, and in the private collection of artist Richard Prince.  Ali lives and works in Long Beach.
