The Center for Latin American Studies (CLAS) offers graduate and undergraduate certificates in Latin American Studies as well as an extensive outreach program to K-12 teachers, other colleges and universities, the business community and the general public. For K-12 teachers, this includes professional development/teacher training workshops, curriculum development, a school visit program, seminars and conferences, a film series, a lecture series, a resource lending library, two newsletters and an annual Latin American and Caribbean Festival. The Center has produced a 35-page Directory of Latin American Studies Resources for Teachers that has printed materials, curriculum guides, audio-visuals, videos and many other resources.
+ - Roger Thayer Stone Center for Latin American Studies, Tulane University
The Roger Thayer Stone Center for Latin American Studies promotes the study of all subject matter relating to Latin America at the K-12, community, and university levels. In order to assure accurate, integrated content, it provides services such as teacher training workshops and conferences, free lending library materials, documentary and feature film series, slide and curriculum publications, faculty and graduate student speakers, and personalized consulting. In conjunction with New Orleans University it sponsors summer travel programs for teachers.

+ - Latin American Data Base, University of New Mexico
The Latin American Data Base is the University of New Mexico's online publication and information resource. It produces three weekly electronic publications and maintains an online searchable data base of more than 24,000 articles as well as Latin American Journals. Publications are available by subscription.
