We are happy you found us. Now in our 55th year as a support group at Chapman University, we are committed to student success through our Endowed Scholarship Fund. Our campus events and programs offer a unique opportunity to connect with the entire Chapman Family of alumni, parents, grandparents, faculty, staff, friends, and neighbors. We invite you to continue your own lifelong learning by attending Lunch at the Forum, our in-person signature lunch series of miniature master classes presented by outstanding faculty and administrators.  In addition, we will be adding many new events and programs to the mix of what we offer our members and friends.

We would love to see you join us as we share our passion for student support with you this year!

Warmly and with much gratitude,

Paula McCance
President, Town & Gown

Town & Gown at Chapman University was founded in 1968 to connect the campus (Gown) and the community (Town). 53 years later and we are still going strong!

Town & Gown, a not-for-profit group, brings together community residents, business leaders, alumni, parents and grandparents of Chapman students, current and former Chapman faculty and staff, as well as other friends of the university.

Our main goals are to:

  • SUPPORT students through the Town & Gown Endowed Scholarship Fund
  • CONNECT with the entire Chapman Family
  • LEARN from outstanding faculty and academic leaders during Lunch at the Forum, our annual series of five mini master classes

We have proudly made contributions to Chapman University. To learn more about those, please click here.

Please feel free to explore all that T&G has to offer!  Click through our website with the buttons on the left, learn more about our group, and if you don't find what you are looking for, please contact us!

Town & Gown Scholars

Ask a member about Town & Gown’s most important mission, and the immediate answer is usually “our scholarship students.” The students selected each year are juniors or seniors with amazing accomplishments and great plans for their future, with their awards coming from the Town & Gown Endowed Scholarship Fund

Please click below to see the list of recipients since 1984, that with this year's class, total 62! We welcome our five 2022-2023 Town & Gown Scholars: Mo Hijazi '24, Isabella McDonald-Brent '23, Alexis Reekie '23, Hawk Shahbazian '23, and Kyndal Workman '24. Lunch at the Forum attendees will have the opportunity to meet these fine Chapman students in person. We are certainly proud to call them "our scholarship students!"
