» Cesar Chavez Day of Service

The third annual Cesar Chavez Day of Service is scheduled for March 8, 2019 and will offer participants the opportunity to engage in service at local organizations addressing critical needs of the Orange County community. Participants are encouraged to engage in service not as an end in itself, but as a means for deepening their connection with local communities, furthering the development of their civic identity, and broadening their understanding of life in Orange County. The Cesar Chavez Day of Service includes a focus on the values of the Cesar Chavez Foundation, which include service to others, sacrifice, a preference to help the most needy, determination, non-violence, acceptance of all people, respect for life and the environment, celebrating community, knowledge, and innovation.

Participant Registration

Registration for the Cesar Chavez Day of Service will open to Chapman alumni, faculty, family members, staff, and students in February 2019.
