Our Mission

Wellness Project LogoThe Wellness Project from the Dean of Students Office provides preventative education focused on the use of alcohol and other drugs, building healthy relationships, reaching out to peers in need, and connecting students to safe and effective resources. The program works collaboratively with campus partners to educate the Chapman community about University policies, available resources, and practices and to offer engaging programs into one comprehensive environmental management program to achieve these goals.

+ - Who We Are

Our Alcohol and Wellness Peer Educator team is composed of seven motivated undergraduates working to facilitate positive change in the Chapman community by collaborating with multiple departments and student organizations. In addition, our student videographer executes media projects to expand the message of the Wellness Project through video and photography while our two student graphic designers engage the campus through stunning visuals in our passive educational campaigns.

Breaking Points Documentary Screening

Our campaign for this month is called "P.S.: Reality Check" and focuses on the misuse and abuse of prescription stimulants.

We will be screening the documentary "Breaking Points" about high school and college students' experience abusing prescription stimulants and the negative effects this can have on those who are not prescribed the medication. We will also be screening a video made by our own peer educators featuring a few incredible Chapman students.

This event will take place on February 27th from 6pm-7:30pm in the Student Union. Stay and participate for free food and the chance to win some super cool prizes.
