As a member of the Fulbright Specialist Program, Michael Hass worked with scholars from Vietnam National University, University of Education, Ha Noi and Hue University, College of Education. He conducted professional development workshops on ADHD, learning disabilities, and supervision for faculty members, students, K-12 teachers, and community mental health practitioners. Dr. Hass provided case consultation and supervision with school-based mental health practitioners. In addition, Dr. Hass consulted in the development of curriculum for the first Master of Arts in Counseling and School Psychology in Vietnam. The program is scheduled to begin in December of 2015. The highlight of the Fulbright Specialist Program was "developing relationships with colleagues in Vietnam," says Dr. Hass. "I see this as the beginning of a long term relationship."
