Dr. Ruben Espinoza is an instructional assistant professor in the Department of Sociology. His research interests include social inequality, Latino/a and Latinx communities in the U.S., migration, housing insecurity and the food system. He is a co-author of the report "Working for Dignity," which analyzes social problems confronted by low-wage workers living in Santa Cruz County. He currently teaches Intro to Latinx and Latin American Studies at Chapman University.
