His award-winning pilot script <em>Midnight City</em> was praised for its portrayal of 1960s LGBTQ+ life in San Francisco.<br/><br/>He began his career as a music video producer, director, and editor, collaborating with bands and labels such as Rancid’s Hellcat Records and The Dandy Warhols’ Beat the World Records. He also worked as a local news writer for San Diego’s NBC affiliate.<br/><br/>In addition to his writing career, Adams mentors and volunteers with a handful of juvenile halls and rehabilitation programs.</p>
