Borrowing Procedures

Currently enrolled or employed University of Massachusetts Global students, faculty, and staff are welcome to come to the Leatherby Libraries in person and borrow or check out items. A University of Massachusetts Global ID card must be presented in order for any Circulation transaction to be performed. No substitutes will be accepted. To learn how to obtain a University of Massachusetts Global ID card, please view the directions provided in University of Massachusetts Library Borrowing Policies and Procedures (see "Obtaining A University of Massachusetts Global ID Card").

Upon receipt of your University of Massachusetts Global ID Card, it is required that you contact the University of Massachusetts Global Library Assistant at (800) 344-5756 Ext. 1 to ensure your library account is active before visiting the library. The University of Massachusetts Global Library Assistant is available between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Research Assistance

In addition to email and telephone reference assistance, University of Massachusetts Global students, faculty, and staff are welcome to visit Leatherby Libraries for in-person assistance.

Basic reference assistance is available Saturday and Sunday, 12-5 p.m. (with exception to holidays). Stop by the Reference Desk, located on the 1st Floor of Leatherby Libraries. You may also contact the reference desk at libweb@chapman.edu / (714) 532-7714.
