There are many different bar associations students may join that can assist in their professional development and networking. View a list of bar associations with free student memberships.
Orange County Bar Association (OCBA)
How to become a member:
Fowler School of Law purchases student memberships with the Orange County Bar Association for all currently enrolled students. If you have not received an e-mail with your membership information, please contact the OCBA’s membership department.
Los Angeles County Bar Association (LACBA) and Other Bar Associations
How to become a member:
If students can show that they would derive a greater benefit from LACBA or another bar association, the Career Services Office will consider sponsoring their membership to such organization.
+ - Business Card Orders
Business cards can be a valuable networking tool. Orders for Fowler Law business cards are only placed at the beginning of the fall semester. Please check the Classifieds for information on how to order business cards. Once you have ordered, you will receive an email informing you that your cards have arrived. Contact the Law Recruiting Program Manager with questions about business cards.

Chapman University Fowler School of Law Events:
The Fowler School of Law regularly sponsors a variety of events, including the Chapman Dialogues, en bancs, symposia, and panels.
Bar Associations/Professional Organizations:
Visit the calendar section on the association/organization website to identify upcoming mixers and events. If there is not a calendar section, you can often request to be added to their listserv distribution.
Conference & Career Fairs
There are many conferences and career fairs held throughout the year. These will be announced via email.
