Graduate Programs at Chapman University School of Pharmacy

Chapman University School of Pharmacy (CUSP) offers a 2-year, year-round thesis-based Master of Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences (M.S.P.S.) for students interested in a broad range of scientific disciplines critical to the discovery and development of new drugs and therapies. We are molding pharmaceutical scientists who possess a deep scientific foundation, a passion for human health improvement, and the caring concern needed to make a difference in people’s lives.

The master’s program offers exciting internship and networking opportunities with local and global partners to help students gain valuable experience and jumpstart their careers. Class sizes are small, allowing faculty to focus on providing personalized education to our students as they pursue innovative original research projects.

Graduates of the program can pursue a variety of career opportunities in pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies. A number of pharmaceutical, biomedical, and medical device companies are located both in and around the Irvine Rinker Health Science Campus where CUSP is located in Orange County, California. Graduates are also positioned to work as researchers at universities, government agencies, non-profit agencies such as U.S. Pharmacopeia (USP), and national laboratories such as the National Institutes of Health (NIH).
