Staff Appreciation

» Staff Summit

Held this year June 3, 2019 - June 7, 2019.

You must register to attend, and to receive a t-shirt. Colleagues who have registered by the deadline will be given priority in seating, resources, and participation. Colleagues who have not registered, or registered after the deadline, and still want to participate will be placed on a waitlist and their participation will be subject to space/resource availability.

Seating will be assigned to each guest when signing-in for the Kick-off Welcome Brunch and Keynote Speaker event on Monday, June 3rd.

Activities and events are subject to change without prior notice. We will do our best to reflect changes on this page as soon as possible and to inform those who have registered and/or are on a waitlist.

Staff Summit is an excellent opportunity to meet new Chapman colleagues and expand your professional network. Don't forget to bring business cards, if you have some!

Room BK 206 at the Orange campus will be available for Rinker campus colleagues who wish to attend the festivities on the Orange campus and work remotely on Monday, June 3rd, and Thursday, June 6th.

Workshops presented on Tuesday at the Orange campus will be presented at the Rinker campus on Wednesday, and vice versa. For shuttle service information, click on Shuttle Schedule below. If you would like to join a workshop virtually, please email us ahead of time.

Staff Summit is currently only open to Chapman University staff who are categorized as regular full-time and regular part-time employees.

For questions, please email staffsummit@chapman.edu.

The accepted formats for Chapman presentations are brief oral presentations, poster presentations, and panel discussions/presentations.

Chapman Trainings offer a one-stop-shop during Staff Summit for all Chapman University trainings. If you are, or your unit is, responsible for offering a technical or compliance-based training, we can help you by advertising your training within the Staff Summit program and take care of the RSVPs. If you/your unit are interested in this opportunity, please fill out this online Chapman Training Interest form no later than 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 22nd.
