Alex is a senior at Chapman and was born in Southern California before moving to Athens, Greece, where he attended the American Community School until middle school. Alex is pursuing a Certificate in Applied Statistical Analysis and a minor in Entrepreneurship and was recruited by Chapman to run on the track team as a sprinter. He is involved with the Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity and the Sustain Chapman club on campus. Outside of school, Alex is passionate about his family, traveling, basketball — mainly the Milwaukee Bucks, the outdoors and sustainability. He’s started a small entrepreneurial venture called Omega Custom Shop, a surf and skate brand that allowed him to experiment with business concepts he learned in the classroom. He also volunteers as a staff member at a church camp every summer.

Abigail Tan is a senior pursuing her BS in computer science with a game development minor. She is a first generation college student from Oxnard, CA. She has interned for Princess Cruises and worked in Dr. Louanne Boyd’s VR Sensory Lab. Abigail also has held multiple leadership roles on campus such as serving on the Schmid Student Leadership Council, being the past president of Chapman Rotaract and Chapman’s Filipino Club, and is currently the Vice President of the Student Government Association. She is so excited to serve on the Fowler Engineering Student Leadership Council to continue contributing to the Chapman community.

Brandon Fabre is 20 years old and originally from Las Vegas, NV. He is a third year Data Analytics student and will be applying to the 4+1 Computational and Data Sciences M.S. program. Brandon is a computers teacher for students ages 5–14 at Far Horizons Montessori School, leads an on-campus organization that exposes local at-risk youth to the sciences through first-hand experiences and develops software in his free time. His goal in life is to open a business in software development focused on business or educational software.
