CAIS logoThe California Alliance for Inclusive Schooling (CAIS) is an intersegmental group of professionals dedicated to the development of inclusive schools for all students. Our mission is to support, unify and promote efforts to increase inclusive schooling in California. The Alliance focuses on practice in schools, policy for state recommendations, and preparation of school professionals and is comprised of three working groups: Practice, Policy, and Preparation.

The California Alliance for Inclusive Schooling committee meets formally three times per year; at the California Council on Teacher Education (CCTE) conferences in San Diego (Preparation), the SPAN Conference in Sacramento (Policy) and the CA-MTSS Conference in Anaheim (Practice). CAIS @ California Council on Teacher Education (CCTE) Conference

CAIS will be hosting a meeting to discuss new developments in inclusive education practices in California during the Fall 2020 CCTE conference. The CCTE conference will be held virtually from October 21 - 23, 2020. The CAIS meeting will take place on Wednesday, October 21, from 4:30 - 6:00 p.m. The meeting is free and all are welcome to attend. The link for the meeting will be available after September 1.
