Uniting Animation and Visual Effects
After nearly 400 hours of work, and the passion to bring their project to life: find out how Taylor Johnston ‘18 and Austin Piko ‘18 brought their stop-motion film to life one frame at a time.

Digital Media Arts Center (DMAC)

Collaboration is how creativity happens. That’s why our Digital Media Arts Center (DMAC) is one part digital-arts studio, one part indoor lounge, all inspired by the creative spaces at Pixar, Disney, Microsoft and Google.

  • The Collective: Connect, collaborate and create with a diverse community of student artists working in all mediums.  
  • Virtual Reality/AR Club: Synthesize the latest in the sciences with purposeful art to create virtual worlds, unique games and more.
  • What is Art Club?: Help cultivate an artistic community and explore all the arts have to offer.

While you consider Chapman, we hope you’ll come visit us in person! You can:

  • Take a tour of Dodge College: These 45-minute tours are given by current students. They cover all academic programs, an inside look at our facilities and provide opportunities to ask questions.
  • Take a tour of Chapman: You will get to see more of campus and the residence life area. These are offered directly after Dodge tours.
