» Choral Music Camp for High School Singers

June 22–26, 2020

Under the direction of Keith Hancock, 2017 winner of the GRAMMY® Music Educator of the Year, Chapman University’s week-long Choral Music Camp features mixed choir, women’s choir and men’s choir as well as small ensembles in which students explore making music with new friends. Open to all students entering grades 912, our camp faculty and instructors are committed to providing students with an exciting, positive and rewarding musical experience. We hope you will join us for a week of singing, learning and fun!

REGISTRATION DEADLINE:  May 1, 2020

Commuter Camper Registration

  • Early Bird: $395—January 15 to March 15, 2020
  • Regular: $495—March 16 to May 1, 2020
  • Includes:
    • Week-long day camp
    • Choral music packet
    • Camp t-shirt
    • Daily lunch and dinner

Overnight Camper Registration & Deposit

  • Early Bird: $795—January 15 to March 15, 2020
    • $400 deposit due by March 15, 2020
  • Regular: $895March 16 to May 1, 2020
    • $400 deposit due by May 1, 2020
  • Final amount due May 1, 2020
  • Includes:
    • Week-long day camp
    • Choral music packet
    • Camp t-shirt 
    • Room and board (double occupancy plus breakfast, lunch and dinner)

Space fills up quickly, enroll early!

+ - Accommodations

 

Overnight Campers stay in an on-campus Chapman University dormitory (girls-only/boys-only), and adult chaperones are provided. Rooms are based on double occupancy with a private bathroom.

  • Check-In: Sunday, June 21
  • Check-Out: Saturday, June 27

+ - Camp Scholarships & Refund Policy

 

Last year, Chapman’s Choral Music Camp awarded over $10,000 in scholarships and financial assistance!

Scholarships

A limited number of partial scholarships are available and awarded on a case-by case basis. Scholarships may only be applied toward camp tuition and do not apply to room and board costs.

Application forms are available upon request.

Refund/Cancellation Policy

In the event you must cancel your registration for any reason:

  • Notice of cancellation must be submitted in writing.
  • Request for cancellation due to illness, accident, or death in the family requires documentation. Upon receipt of documentation, a full refund will be issued, less any applicable cancellation fee. Verification must be received no later than three (3) days after the scheduled start date.
  • Please allow 46 weeks to receive your refund.

Commuter Camper Cancellations:

  • Cancellations for any reason prior to 6/22/20 will receive a full refund less a $50 cancellation fee.
  • No refunds for cancellations on or after 6/22/2020.

Overnight Camper Cancellations:

  • Cancellations for any reason prior to 6/1/20 will receive a full refund less a $100 cancellation fee.
  • Cancellations for any reason between 6/2–6/21/20 will receive a full refund less a $250 cancellation fee.
  • No refunds for cancellations on or after 6/22/2020.
