Our 2016 Choral Music Camp (June 20th through June 24th) was a rousing success featuring students from over twenty local high school, including Aliso Niguel, Arlington, Canyon, Dana Hills, Esperanza, Foothill, Irvine, Laguna Hills, Mater Dei, Mohave, Murietta, Orange County School of the Arts, Orange, Rosary, San Juan Hills, Santa Margarita, St. Margaret’s, Tesoro, Valencia, Vista Ridge (TX), Westminster, and Yorba Linda!
2017 Choral Camp information will be available in January 2017.
For the past four years, Chapman University's Choral Music Camp has connected high school choral students with our outstanding Choral Camp faculty & student instructors... and this year is no exception! Led by faculty Keith Hancock and Stephen Coker, our 5th annual weeklong day camp will include Mixed Choir, Women’s Choir and Men’s Choir as well as small ensembles in which students will explore making music with new friends.
In addition, students will have an opportunity to participate in various elective classes throughout the week - this year's offerings include Sight Singing, Voice Class, Music Technology, Percussion Class, Audition Preparation, and Acting for Singers. On Friday, June 24th, all students will perform in a 7:30 p.m. performance in the new Musco Center for the Arts on the beautiful Chapman University campus.
Regular tuition is $395 (Early Bird pricing is $315 until April 1st) and includes the week-long day camp, cafeteria plan, choral music packet and camp T-shirt. Choral music packet will be provided at camp check-in. Cafeteria plan includes 5 lunches and 5 dinners at on-campus cafeteria.
