» Event Scheduling Timeline

Event scheduling at Chapman is a complex process with a variety of individuals and organizations all vying for time and space. In an effort to help all event planners during this process, we have created the event scheduling timeline below. This allows everyone to clearly see when they can submit their event to the 25Live system, and what the official cutoff dates are before the system opens to a broader audience.

2021-2022 Academic Year

Please note: The 2020-2021 academic year is now open to all individuals to submit their event.

Friday, January 15, 2021

All University approved major events must have their official dates submitted to the Events Scheduling Office before this date. Event Scheduling will notify you if you are a University approved event prior to this date. After this date, the rooms will be opening up to the larger Chapman events community.

Wait list: During this time, we are also allowing the rest of the event planners to submit a wait list request that allows them to request rooms prior to their system access date. Please submit your request through the Room Request Waitlist Form. Rooms will be allocated by date of submission. The waitlist request site will close January 15, 2021.

Monday, January 25 – 29, 2021

The system will be locked to 2020-2021 submissions so the Event Scheduling staff can process all submitted events. This process will not block you from 2020-2021 submissions.

Monday, February 1 – February 5, 2021

During this time, we will allow all individuals who submitted a wait list request to enter the system.

Monday, February 8, 2021

On this date the 25Live system will be opened to the whole events community. At this point it is a first come, first served basis with events.
